Is this for you?

Sound familiar?

“I work out three times a week and still don't see abs.”

The gym builds muscle. The kitchen reveals it. Without knowing what you actually eat, you're training on guesswork.

“My wedding is in six months. I have one shot at the photos.”

The date won't move. The dress won't stretch. But what's on your plate can change — once you can finally see it.

“I just want to fit into my favourite jeans again.”

That's the real goal — not a number, not a streak. Jeans respond to what's on your plate most days, not to how diligently you logged.

“My doctor said my blood work is ‘borderline.’”

That's a warning, not a verdict. What you eat is the lever you control — much easier to pull once the numbers stop being a mystery.

What it takes

Why it didn't stick last time

“I cook at home — nothing I eat has a barcode.”

MorsusMeal reads the plate itself. Homemade food is its home turf, not an edge case.

“I start strong, then one busy Thursday ends the whole week.”

A meal you photograph in seconds is a habit that survives busy days.

“Restaurant portions are a total guess.”

The AI estimates from the photo — and a note like “large bowl” sharpens it.

“I don't want a hobby. I just want the number.”

Nothing you must configure, no streaks to protect, no badges. Snap, glance, done.

“I only remember to log when the plate is half empty.”

Then photograph what's left and add “ate half”. Or pull a shot from your gallery hours later — it still counts.

“I miss one day and the whole diary feels ruined.”

There's no streak to break and no gaps to backfill. Your next photo picks up exactly where you left off.

How it works

A photo, a glance, a tap

Logging a meal shouldn't be a job. MorsusMeal makes it a reflex you'll still have on day thirty.

1

Snap your plate

Point the camera at whatever you're eating, or pick a shot from your gallery. Add a note like “no oil” if you want — that's the whole input.

2

Glance at the numbers

The numbers arrive in seconds — your dish broken into ingredients, each with weight and macros. You see exactly where every total comes from.

3

Tap save. Done.

One tap logs it to your diary. Eating the same breakfast tomorrow? Log it again instantly — no re-scan, no waiting.

That's it. No questionnaire, no twenty onboarding screens. Open the app, snap, done.

What changes

The point isn't tracking. It's finally knowing.

What changes when logging stops being work.

You stop “forgetting” things

When logging is one photo, the biscuit at 4 p.m. and the sweet latte make it into the diary too. An honest diary is the only one worth having.

The 800-calorie “healthy” salad

You start noticing where the calories actually hide — not because an app told you, but because you saw it yourself.

Nothing left to rebel against

People don't quit from weak willpower. They quit from control fatigue. No weighing, no forms, no burnout.

Features

Everything you need, nothing to configure

Works on real food

Mixed plates, grandma's soup, a takeout box — not just packaged products with barcodes on them.

A note sharpens it

“No oil”, “large portion”, “ate half” — a few words with your photo make the estimate noticeably more precise.

You have the final say

Estimates are honest, not gospel. Numbers look off? Adjust anything in two taps — the app trusts your eyes.

No goal required

We don't ask “What's your goal weight?” before you've logged a single meal. Snap first. Decide later. Or just eat and learn.

Trends, not judgement

Weekly and monthly averages that show patterns, not punishment.

No streaks, no guilt

Miss a day? Nothing breaks. No red warnings, no “you lost your 12-day streak!” anxiety. Your next photo picks up right where you left off.

One-tap repeat

Same breakfast as yesterday? Log it again with one tap — identical nutrition, zero waiting.

Private by default

Your photo goes to the AI, then it's gone — we keep no copy, and no record of what you ate. Your diary lives on your phone. Nobody knows what you had for dinner but you.

A calm place for your meals

Designed to feel like paper, not a spreadsheet

No red numbers when you go over. No green checkmarks when you're good. Just your meals, recorded.

FAQ

Fair questions

How accurate is the photo analysis?+

It's an estimate — a good one for everyday decisions, not a lab measurement. The AI identifies ingredients and portion sizes from the photo, and a short note like “large portion” or “cooked without oil” makes it noticeably sharper. When you know better, you can adjust any number in two taps.

How long does a scan take?+

A few seconds — the AI is genuinely reading your plate, not looking up a barcode. When the numbers arrive, one tap saves them and you're done before your food cools. Repeat meals and manual logs are instant.

When does it launch?+

MorsusMeal is in final testing and coming to the App Store soon. This page will update the moment it's live.

Is there a free trial?+

Yes — your first days are completely free with every feature unlocked, so you can feel whether the habit sticks before paying. After the trial, MorsusMeal needs a subscription: analyzing photos costs us real money per scan. Everyone, trial or member, gets up to 10 scans a day.

What if the estimate is wrong?+

The ingredient list shows you exactly how the total was built, so you can spot what's off. Tap Adjust, change the number, done. Your correction is what gets saved.

What about Android?+

iPhone first, Android next. Enough Android interest moves it up the roadmap — tell us at support@morsusmeal.com.

What happens to my photos?+

A photo — plus your note, if you added one — leaves your phone only to be read by the AI that estimates its nutrition, and is then discarded. We store no copy of your photos and no record of your meals on our servers: your diary lives on your device. No data sales, no social feed. Details in the privacy policy.
